Family Reunion

I've been busy these past few days that I haven't been able to update this blog for a while. Well, I went to Silang, Cavite yesterday to attend our family reunion at my Tito's vacation house in Sta. Rosa Heights. The house is located near a creek. It can actually be seen at the backyard while resting at their Nipa hut. Chirping birds can be heard even in the middle of the afternoon. The soothing atmosphere befits the vacation house very well. Too bad, I don't have any photos to post here.

A simple family gathering was held. Everyone was so energetic yesterday even though rain drizzles every once in awhile. The catering service reminded me of my high school prom. :)

We didn't stay for too long, after talking some more with our relatives, we said our goodbyes and hopes to see each other again soon.

The reunion was fun and while on the way home thoughts about the house struck me; It is a very sophisticated house with good interior designs; has cool decorations and has a very beautiful garden but it lacks the quality of a home. It doesn't matter because it's just a vacation house, but still, it made me feel the great difference between a house and a home.

Sayings like these are so true:

"It takes hands to build a house, but only hearts can build a home".  ~Author Unknown

Let me paste this one which I found in wiki.answers.com

"You can live in a beautiful home, but if you have no one to love and share it with, then it's just a plain house no matter how fancy it is. Poor or rich, no children or a dozen children, adults have the control to make any place a good home".

It reminds me more that all the richness in the world are worthless if you don't have someone to share it with. :) To attain love is much more important than to gain wealth; proves that love is the most precious thing in this world. ~yay :D

Keep loving!  ^.~
